Make Ice Cream Cookie Cake


Don't settle for an ordinary birthday cake. Instead, make a tasty, chocolaty treat for your loved one. An ice cream cookie cake is easy you make, but you need to plan ahead because you will need to let the cake set in the freezer for a few hours before serving.


Instructions


1. Pull apart the chocolate sandwich cookies and remove the cream. Crush the cookies into crumbs in a bowl.


2. Combine 3 3/4 cups cookie crumbs with #188; cup melted butter. Press this mixture into a greased 13-by -9-by-2 baking dish.


3. Spread your ice cream over this cookie mixture. Cover the mixture and put in the freezer until the ice cream freezes into the shape of the container.


4. Remove the dessert from the freezer and drizzle the warm fudge topping over the ice cream. Cover and place in the freezer.


5. Remove from the freezer once the fudge topping has hardened and cover it with whipped topping. Sprinkle with the remaining cookie crumbles. Cover and freeze for two hours or until firm. Remove from 10 minutes before serving.
