Natural Remedies For Thinning Hair

Thinning hair is caused by many factors. It is normal to lose about 40 to 80 hairs per day, but if the number is more than this, or if hair looks dull and brittle, it could mean a deficiency problem. Before running to a doctor for harsh treatments, see if your diet is complete. Incorporating a few vitamins and minerals into a daily nutrition plan will help with hair loss and many other health issues.

Eggs

The protein in eggs makes hair shiny and thick. Massage an egg into hair before shampooing and rinse with cool water.

Vitamins

Take a vitamin supplement. Vitamins E, C and B complex increase circulation and aid in hair growth.

Massage

Massage scalp for 10 minutes every day. This helps encourage blood flow and circulation in the scalp.

Chemicals

Use natural shampoos to avoid harsh chemicals. Chemicals can clog hair follicles and cause hair loss.

Diet

Eat a diet rich in fruits and vegetables. Refined foods cause brittle and unhealthy hair as well as hair loss.

Rinses

Rinse scalp with apple cider vinegar. This clears away dead skin cells that could be prohibiting growth.

Circulation

Lie back on a slant bench for a few minutes a day. This increases blood flow to the scalp and encourages hair growth.
