Being pregnant takes a toll on your body, and it is not uncommon for women to gain up to 60 pounds, especially during their first pregnancy. But the postpartum blues, often spurred on by the feeling of being overweight, can take a toll on your self esteem and general happy outlook. But you don't need to pay a monthly fee to go to a gym to lose the weight. You can do it at home with the help of friends and family.
Instructions
1. Set a goal weight to reach and a timeline. Choose a specific goal weight and decide how long you think it will take you to reach it. Do you want to fit back into your wedding dress by the end of the summer? Then do it. Because you can!
2. Tell your family and friends about your goal, so they can support you. This will be especially important when it comes to dieting.
3. Get a calendar and plan out what you will eat and how you will exercise each day.
4. Plan healthy meals, using all 4 food groups, throwing out ice cream, pizza and other unhealthy options. Your family will need to commit to eating healthy too for that month, so that you are not tempted by their diets. As a result, everyone will feel better.
5. Make a goal not to eat after 7 p.m.
6. Start your exercises early in the morning. This will help start your day off right and get you in a good mood.
