How Does Enzyte Work

Enzyme is not a drug but rather an herbal supplement. This means that it is not meant to cure or treat a disease. Many men with erectile dysfunction disorder may believe that Enzyte will be able to cure them of the ailment, but that is not true. Enzyte introduces a mix of herbs, vitamins and minerals into the body that each has a specific function. Those functions vary, but they all work toward the goal of enlarging the sexual organs of the male anatomy.

Breakup and Effects in the Body

Enzyte pills are meant to be taken once a day. When the pill enters the body, it is broken down in the digestive system and the various components are then absorbed through the gastrointestinal walls and into the body. They are then transported through the body, where they play specific roles in achieving penile growth. Three of the main ingredients in Enzyte are horny goat weed, ginseng and Ginko biloba. Horny goat weed has been used to cure ailments of the pelvis and testicular region, while ginseng is believed to improve physical health and sexual stamina. Ginko biloba is commonly taken even on its own and is used in Enzyte to promote blood flow.

The End Result

When an erection occurs, the penis fills with blood and Enzyte allows even more blood to flow into the penis. Blood flowing into the penis will run through expanded arteries, while blood running away will be stopped up somewhat by tightened arteries, keeping the penis erect longer, and filled with more blood than normal. It should be noted that Enzyte has not been approved by the Food and Drug Administration, so effects will vary depending on who takes it and it may not affect everyone.
