Perform Reiki

Perform Reiki

Reiki (ray-key) is a Japanese healing system that interacts with the energy (Reiki means "universal life energy") that surrounds and flows from all life. Reiki is non-invasive and can be performed by anyone trained to attune to the energy. Reiki practitioners stimulate the body's innate healing by easing mental stress, physical pain, emotional blockages and spiritual desire for ascension. Reiki treatment is completely safe.

Instructions

1. Smooth the aura down the spine by stimulating each organ and Chakra with Reiki on the back and spine. Begin with the shoulders and move down your subject's body. Place your left hand, heel on the spine, hand along the right shoulder and right hand along left shoulder, finger tips on spine. Slowly and without pressure glide both hands down from the shoulders along the back. Feel for energy that reveals stress, neck problems, blocked emotions and inability to balance responsibility. Allow your hands to rest on their path, allowing the energy to communicate, especially over areas of tight muscles.

2. Place your hands over the middle back, behind the heart, to treat lung, heart or back and shoulder problems. You are stimulating the back of the Heart Chakra, which helps ease emotional distress and depression. The capacity to love self and others in stimulated.

3. Place left hand along the spine, fingers toward recipient's neck. Your right hand will cross the spine just below the left hand. This balances the energy flow between the lower and upper spine. This position eases lower back and hip complaints. The lymph gland and central nervous system benefit as well.

4. Place your left hand placed along the and above the waist to the right of the recipient's spine and with your right hand along and just above the waist, fingers touch the heel of your left hand. This treatment stimulates the adrenal glands and nervous system. It also purifies cleansing organs, the liver, kidneys and spleen.

5. Use two fingers on your left (receiving) hand one on either side of the spine. Focus Reiki on each vertebrae. This is helpful for stiff or aching backs. Take your time to attune to the unique energy properties of the subject's back. You will learn to discern which vertebrae need treatment.

6. Treat stomach and urinary problems by placing your right hand across the base of the spine and the left hand perpendicular and just below the right hand, covering the coccyx. This will direct energy through the recipient's intestines and urinary tract, also easing sciatic nerve tension.

7. Balance the energy that runs through the subject's spine. Place your left hand across the nape of the neck and your right hand at a right angle to the left hand. This position also helps strengthen posture by energizing and balancing the entire central nervous system.
