Use Tea Tree Oil For Warts

Use Tea Tree Oil for Warts

All natural tea tree oil is a powerful antiseptic which also has anti-fungal and anti-viral properties. Used in a number of remedies, tea tree oil can help to treat infection, yeast infections, fungal infections acne and more. Because of it's anti-viral properties, the oil can even be used to treat warts naturally.

Instructions

1. Treat warts on your feet by simply applying the oil full strength to the warts two or three times each day. The skin on the feet tends to be thicker and less sensitive than other areas of the body; however, if you experience skin irritation, you can dilute the solution up to 50 percent with water or aloe vera gel.

2. Dilute tea tree oil for use on warts that appear on areas of the body besides the feet, as skin can often become dry and irritated. Begin mixing a 50/50 solution with water or aloe vera gel, diluting more or less depending on how your skin reacts. While the stronger the tea tree oil solution, the faster warts will disappear, it is important that the skin does not become irritated during treatment.

3. Compliment your daily tea tree oil wart treatment with an overnight treatment to help the oil penetrate deeply into the skin to eliminate the virus which causes warts. Mix a 50/50 solution of tea tree oil and olive oil and soak the gauze portion of an adhesive bandage. Cover the wart and leave overnight, every night until the wart is gone.

4. Use tea tree oil to treat genital warts, as long as there is no open or irritated skin. Mix a 50/50 solution of tea tree oil and water and soak a gauze bandage in the liquid. Wring out any excess moisture and then place the gauze over the affected area, leaving overnight every day until the warts disappear. Again, if you experience skin irritation, dilute the solution further.
