Regulate Your Menstrual Cycle Naturally

Are you one of the many women out there who has a very irregular menstrual cycle? Are you looking for some ways to regulate your menstrual cycle naturally? Well, there are many options available to you that will help you to regulate your menstrual cycle and hopefully help you to increase your fertility too.

Instructions

1. One of the most important things you can do to regulate your menstrual cycle naturally is to eat foods rich in vitamins and minerals. Try to eat a diet full of natural foods instead of a diet full of preservatives and artificial sweeteners. Pick fresh food over frozen or canned goods. Eat lots of high fiber and low fat foods. Try to avoid caffeine, soft drinks, and alcohol. Drink plenty of water.

2. Once you're eating a healthy diet, another great way to regulate your menstrual cycle naturally is to exercise regularly. Our bodies are meant to be exercised on a consistent basis. Many women feel they are too busy to exercise, but exercising is essential for good health and may be necessary for many women to have a normal cycle. 30 minutes of heart pumping exercise at least three times per week is a good start. Daily exercise is even better. But don't take exercising too far. Too much exercise can also affect your cycle. Excessive exercise has been proven to greatly lessen the number of cycles a woman has or can even stop her from having cycles altogether. So don't over do it. Moderation is the key.

3. Yet another way to regulate your menstrual cycle naturally is to take a daily multi vitamin. Many women simply do not get the proper amount of vitamins and minerals from their daily diet. Begin taking a multi vitamin daily and continue this practice for the rest of your life. It can't hurt you, and you'll be far healthier as a result.

4. One last, somewhat controversial way to regulate your menstrual cycle naturally is to completely darken your room at night while you sleep. Light shining in your room at night has been a suspected cause of cycle irregularities. You may want to cover your windows with dark sheets at night and get rid of your night light. If you do this, you may surprisingly find that your cycle becomes more regular as a result. It may not work for everyone, but it's worth a try.
