Use Podofilox

Podofilox removes warts from the outer genital region of the body. It is a prescription medication and is available in a liquid solution or gel form. The topical medication works to remove the skin covering the wart. Podofilox is a strong medication, and strict precautions need to be followed when using the product.

Instructions

Using Podofilox

1. Wash hands and genitals before applying Podofilox. Pat the affected area dry.

2. Check the size of the wart area. Do not use the medication on areas larger than 1.6 square inches. If the area is larger, consult a physician before use.

3. Use the supplied applicator or a cotton swab to apply the medicated solution or gel to wart. Using a finger to apply gel is also appropriate. It is important to use a new, clean applicator for each application.

4. Wash any areas of normal skin if the medication is mistakenly applied. Wash hands after application and dispose of the applicator.

5. Apply medication twice daily for three days. Stop using for four days and repeat the cycle for four weeks.

6. Store Podofilox at room temperature.
