Get Rid Of Halitosis

Halitosis is what most people refer to as "bad breath." While there may or may not be an underlying cause of halitosis, the result of the condition can be unpleasant and embarassing. In order to learn get rid of halitosis, it's important to understand that it can be a recurring problem. .

1. Brush your teeth regularly and floss to prevent halitosis. It's quite common for food particles to get lodged between teeth. A toothbrush and floss will remove food particles.


2. Sprinkle baking soda on top of your toothpaste-covered toothbrush. The baking soda will work with the toothpaste to clean and deodorize your mouth.


3. Rinse your mouth with white vinegar, then rinse again with water.


4. Opt for regular mouthwash, not flavored. Scented mouthwash--with flavors like spearmint and cinnamon--will only mask halitosis temporarily.








5. Make an appointment with your dentist if you believe that recurring halitosis may be related to tooth decay or gum disease. Or see a doctor on the chance that it could be related to a medical condition. Stomach and digestive problems can contribute to bad breath.
