Remedy Nail Fungus

Nail fungus is embarrassing and unsightly for the sufferer. Brittle, discolored nails growing in a deformed manner from their roots, forcing the person to wear closed-in shoes even in the height of summer, compounding the problem and give the fungus a cozy place to breed. Fungi thrive in warm, dark and moist areas, and sneakers are the perfect place for them. Once fungus appears on one toenail, the others may follow suit quickly. Fingernails may be equally affected, but can be remedied in the same way.

Instructions

1. Cut the affected nails down as much is possible and file the top surfaces to allow the remedy to penetrate down deep into the nail.

2. Do not wear nail polish on toenails or fingernails; this allows the fungus to breed under the polish.

3. Soak the affected toenails in apple cider vinegar for 20 minutes twice daily. Dry nails and between toes with cotton swabs soaked in rubbing alcohol.

4. Apply tea tree essential oil to the affected nails and wear open-toed sandals while nails dry.

5. Change socks twice daily. Launder with care and dry in the dryer.

6. Eat a healthy balanced diet to keep the body’s immune system in shape, including plenty of antioxidant-rich vegetables. This will help your body ward of parasitic infections, such as fungus.
