Make A Dream Sachet

Dream sachets have been used to induce a restful night's sleep since long before sedatives or sleep aids came into widespread use. Dream sachets are small fabric pouches filled with a mixture of various herbs and tucked into a pillowcase or under the bottom sheet of a baby's crib. A dream sachet can be used to allow a person to fall asleep easily, or to induce pleasant dreams. They are safe for people of all ages.

Instructions

1. Mix the dried herbs in a bowl.

2. Cut a strip of fabric 5 inches wide and 12 inches long.

3. Fold the fabric in half lengthwise with right sides facing and sew two sides together. Leave one side open to fill the pouch.

4. Turn the pouch right side out.

5. Place a small amount of cotton batting into the bottom of the pouch and add 1/2 cup of the dried herb mixture. Place a small amount of cotton batting or fiber fill on top of the herbs.

6. Turn the top edge to the inside of the pouch and hand-sew it closed.

7. Place the dream sachet inside the pillowcase of the pillow you sleep on, or between the bottom sheet and the mattress.
