Lose Weight By Shifting Calories

It's possible to lose weight, regardless of all the hype surrounding its difficulty. You don't even have to eat less. You simply have to eat smarter. The shifting calories plan makes sure you lose the weight. It also makes sure you keep it off.

Instructions

1. Create a meal (and calorie) plan for the first week. This must include eating up to four times a day with no snacking in between. The meals should be full and complete, but you should not plan on having any tempting snacks to fill in times of stress or boredom. Make a special plan that is exciting, different and motivating. Each meal must be something different. It's important that the meals vary in caloric averages.

2. Switch up the calories of your meals. Eat one meal that is 300 calories and another that is more. A third meal should be less than both of the meals. Each meal should have a different calorie total. That is the trick to this diet plan.

3. Be aware of what is going on in your body. Our bodies are trained to hoard fat when it's available. This goes back to our ancestry when hunters would have to sometimes go without food. The body wants to store any fat possible for a needy day. We can trick our metabolism into thinking that more food is coming. This lets it calm down and accurately burn the calories consumed.

4. Drink diet sodas, coffee and juices as required. It's smarter to stay with coffee and diet sodas throughout the day, but drink juice once or twice a day for some great vitamins and nutrients. Keep in mind that juice does have sugar, carbohydrates and calories.

5. Consume lots of water. Water should be your primary beverage. This helps to flush the system, up your metabolism and keep you feeling consistently full.

6. Get plenty of sleep. Because you are fooling your body to keep burning at a high rate (both by keeping the metabolism high with frequent eating and changing the calorie intake regularly with meals), you will continue to burn optimal calories in your sleep. Sleep is also important for overall health, and your ability to lose weight will be much increased with a healthy dose of sleep. Each individual is different, but getting 6 to 8 hours is highly recommended.

7. Shift the calories in even more extremes if your body adapts to this change. There will be a lull in any weight loss, and you shouldn't worry when this occurs. If your weight loss becomes permanently stalled, however, you can simply switch it up again. Choose a whole new scenario for calorie shifting. The meal amounts can be new calories, and you don't even have to greatly reduce the overall amount. Simply switching the calorie amounts at any given time can do the trick.
