If you have recently undergone significant weight loss, either from diet and exercise or a different medical procedure altogether, you may have noticed sagging skin under your chin. The sight can be a little disheartening, especially after losing a large amount of weight, but there are ways to remove or firm the skin under your chin and give you the look you want.

1. Try to avoid direct sunlight. Sun rays can actually help loosen your skin, which may increase the amount of sagging skin you already have under your chin.








2. Pick up a facial skin firming serum. These products reduce the appearance of sagging skin under your chin and can firm the skin as well. The downside to these serums is you need to apply the serum each and every day or your skin will return to its sagging nature.


3. Visit your doctor or a plastic surgeon who specializes in facial treatments. Ask about a face-lift. A face-lift can tighten the sagging skin under your chin. One or two procedures produce excellent results, but try to stay away from over-working the chin area with surgical procedures because you don't want a plastic looking chin.


4. Look into injected or implanted materials if you don't want to stretch the skin on your chin. Injections or implants can fill in the area under your chin. This can either give you a more youthful appearance or you may turn out looking chubby. This is something you need to take into consideration and talk to your doctor about.
