Stop Gingivitis Naturally

Stop Gingivitis Naturally

Bacteria is an important part of food digestion and is present in every mouth; however, the same bacteria that help you to break down your food can also cause gingivitis. Gingivitis is a serious problem that can cause bad breath, bleeding gums and in severe cases, tooth loss. While there are many over-the-counter treatments to kill the germs that cause gingivitis, you don't have to use expensive chemical product. You can make your own natural remedy at home to stop gingivitis and prevent its return.

Instructions

1. Combine 2 tbsp. white oak bark, 1 tbsp. myrrh gum, 3/4 tbsp. peppermint leaves, 1/2 tbsp. anise and 1/8 tbsp. clove in a small jar with a tight fitting lid. Shake the jar to mix the ingredients well.

2. Place 1 tsp. of your natural herbal mixture on a toothbrush and brushing your teeth and gums. Make sure that you clean your mouth thoroughly with the mixture for at least five minutes. Spit out the excess powder once finished, but do not rinse your mouth with water, as you want the powders to remain active in your mouth for as long as possible.

3. Add a bit more peppermint to your natural gingivitis treatment if you find it is too bitter.

4. Use the natural gingivitis treatment three times daily until the problem clears. Afterwards, use the powder once a week to prevent the return of gingivitis.
