Prevent Vericose Veins

Varicose veins are the unsightly spider lines women get on their legs as they age. They can be removed by laser, but preventing them from ever happening is the best method of treatment for varicose veins. There are specific guidelines on prevent varicose veins, and they are not difficult. Stopping one or two bad habits can keep these ugly marks from ever appearing on your legs.

Instructions

1. Prevent varicose veins with exercise on a regular basis to keep the circulatory system healthy. Maintain a healthy weight so the circulatory system does not have to work overtime.

2. Sit straight and rotate ankles often. Crossing legs prohibits upward blood flow which is the cause of varicose veins.

3. Do not sit for long periods of time. Move around every hour or wear compression hose to assist in pumping blood to the heart.

4. Alter your wardrobe. Wear clothes that do not constrict the waist and legs and invest in low heels that fit feet properly.

5. Do not smoke. High blood pressure is associated with varicose veins, and cigarettes raise blood pressure.
