Make Green Tea Bath Salts

Green tea bath salts are the perfect addition to a rejuvenating bath.


There are many advantages to making your own green tea bath salts. It can be more cost effective than spending money on spa services or designer bath salts. Also, when you are the one mixing the ingredients you know exactly what is going in to your bath salts. It is also satisfying to know you created your own indulgence. Whatever your reason, green tea bath salts will fortify your skin with a variety of minerals and increase your focus and energy.








Instructions


1. Coarse or fine ground salt may be used.


Combine Dead Sea salt, dendritic salt, and green tea essential oil. Mix until the essential oil is distributed evenly throughout the salts.


2. Spread the salt mixture over a flat surface - a cookie sheet lined with wax paper works well - and allow to dry completely.


3. Empty the contents of the green tea bags - you can also use loose leaf green tea as long as it is finely ground - and stir into the dry salt mixture. Evenly distribute the green tea leaves.


4. Pouring the salts directly under warm water allows for better distribution in the bath.


Use 1/4 to 1/2 cup of your green tea bath salts per bath. Pour the salts under warm running water for best results. Store remaining salts in a closed container.
