Super-glue can be used to close a small cut by serving as a fake, outer-layer of skin. This glue works as a band-aid while your wound heals and will naturally wear off over time. However, this method is only for use on minor cuts, if you have a severe cut please see a doctor for stitches or other treatment.
Instructions
1. Clean the cut with warm, soapy water and antiseptic. Let it dry well.
2. Squeeze the cut closed and add a touch of super-glue over the small wound. Spread evenly with a cotton swab or small applicator.
3. Allow the glue to dry while applying light pressure and holding the cut closed. This may take a few minutes but make sure you have the cut sealed the way you would like it to heal.
4. Know that the glue will serve as an outer coating to protect the cut from dirt, debris and infection. It will be mostly waterproof but remember that the super-glue is not invincible, it is only a temporary solution and you could still re-open the cut.
5. Be aware that over a short period of time the glue will begin to wear but new skin should be growing underneath. By the time the super-glue wears off, your cut should be mostly healed.
