Using Caloire-Count.com Tools

5. Install the calorie-count toolbar on your computer. This will help you keep your calorie count and daily food intake in front of you at all times.

6. Go to the My Account tab and fill out the food and activity logs based on what you have already done today. To do this, click the Add New Foods Tab under My Logs. Type in your first food and the nutritional value page will appear. You can “tag” the item if you plan to eat it regularly. Click “Add To Food Log” and record what meal you at the food for, adjust the date you ate it if need be, and record the number of servings you ate as well. When that is done, you will see the grade for what you age (A-F) and your number of grams and calories. Record every item you eat in this way.

7. As you add more foods during the day keep an eye on the Eat Meter on the Caloire-Count bar, you will see a bar that shows whether you are in the green to eat more food today, yellow, for in danger of eating too much, or in the red for eating too much for the day.

8. Go to your Activity Log and write down every physical activity you do each day. This includes purposeful exercise, regular walking, and household chores. You may have noticed that Calorie-count.com has set up a burn log that you need to meet each day to be active enough to reach your goals, you will be amazed how quickly this adds up. For example, if you sit at your desk typing for 2 hours, you will burn 432 calories.

9. Visit the Tools Tab to get nutritional info on your phone, to get your diet profile, your calorie burn profile and to use the BMI tool.
