Natural Way To Treat Cervical Cancer

Although natural treatments for cancer have not received much recognition scientifically, there is nevertheless a wide body of cancer survivors who swear that their success in combating cancer was due to some natural methodology. When it comes to combating cervical cancer through natural means, one general recommendation for a "natural" treatment involves a combination of meditation and dietary therapy. However, according to the American Cancer Society, these methods are as of yet unproven by science; they will certainly work better alongside your regular cancer therapy methods as opposed to supplanting them.

Dietary Practices

Follow a strict macrobiotic diet as one step in your quest to treat cervical cancer. A macrobiotic diet is a natural way of eating that is pesco-vegetarian (allowing for the consumption of fish, but no other meats). To follow this plan as detailed by the website Everydiet.org and the American Cancer Society, consume a diet that is rich in organic whole grains, fruits and vegetables, along with eating moderate amounts of beans, soy products (like miso), seeds, nuts and fresh fish. Entirely avoid these items: eggs, dairy, meat, sugars, calorie-containing beverages, caffeine, artificial ingredients, processed foods and hot spices. Additionally, you should strive to only eat fruits and vegetables that are native to the region in which you live. In other words, if you live in Alaska, do not consume tropical fruits like coconuts or bananas. Additionally, avoid accidentally contaminating foods, which means never using a microwave or electricity to prepare meals.

Meditation Practices

Combine the macrobiotic diet with daily meditation to round out your natural treatment for cervical cancer. According to the Mayo Clinic, regular meditation can help to reduce stress and perhaps even help with cancer. Simply sit or lie on your back, close your eyes and concentrate on making your breathing as deep and as smooth as possible. Ignore any outside thoughts or worries that might creep in during your practice, and just continue keeping your mind open and focused on breathing. Continue for as long as desired, and attempt to practice for at least 20 to 30 minutes per day. More information about meditation can be found in the Resource link below.
