Reduce Eyelid Drooping From Botox

Botox is a product that when injected into the skin, paralyzes the muscles and helps to fill in small crevices also known as wrinkles. An unfortunate side effect from Botox injections is a drooping eyelid. Unfortunately, the only remedy to cure eyelid drooping besides time is Iopidine eye drops. Iopidine drops lower the amount of pressure in your eye caused by the Botox injection by reducing the amount of fluid your eyes produce. This fluid and pressure is what causes your eyelids to droop.

Instructions

1. Request a prescription for Iopidine eye drops from your plastic surgeon. It cannot be purchased without a prescription.

2. Place your index finger on your upper eyelid and your thumb on the lower. Pull lightly.

3. Tilt your head back.

4. Squirt two drops of Iopidine eye drops into your eye.

5. Repeat on the other side. Follow your doctor's instructions for the number of days and the amount of applications you should make.
